Hi, I’m Zara Jade Astrid—wife, boy mom (x3), and a skilled method writer who runs on an alarming amount of coffee and chai (don’t ask me to choose; that’s a betrayal). I’m a lifelong book hoarder and psychology enthusiast who builds characters using a blend of MBTI, astrology, and emotional theory.​

I’m also the founder of Olive Press Publishing, a freelance editorial and independent small press dedicated to intentional, character-driven storytelling. When I’m not writing or editing, you’ll usually find me consuming good food and great books, painting, attending live plays, soccer games, or traveling.
